Currently Eid holiday is three days. But some years it was extended by executive order. Apart from this, on the occasion of Durga Puja this year, the current government extended the holiday by one day by executive order.
In such a situation, the Ministry of Public Administration proposes to extend the leave. It was approved by the Advisory Council.
